Equipment

  • Oven

Ingredients

  • 1 box devil’s food cake mix
  • 1 stick butter melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups mini chocolate chips
  • 25 mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • In a large bowl, add the cake mix, melted butter, egg, mini chocolate chips, and the chopped mini Reese’s. Mix until combined; mixing by hand works well. If the dough feels too dry, stir in an additional 2 tablespoons of melted butter.
  • Using a medium cookie scoop, portion the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing cookies about 1 inch apart. Bake for 13–15 minutes, or until cookies are set and cooked through. Cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

If the dough seems too dry, add 2 more tablespoons of melted butter.
