This Raspberry Stuffed Dates Wrapped in Bacon recipe is an easy, three-ingredient, crispy bacon wrapped dates dish that tastes like raspberry jam surrounded by bacon. It’s a delightful raspberry appetizer that cooks in 20 minutes and works for many diets.

If you love the contrast of sweet fruit and salty, crisp bacon, these bacon-wrapped raspberry-stuffed dates are a must-try. They taste like little bites of fruit candy wrapped in bacon and are incredibly simple to prepare. They’re one of my top bacon recipes for entertaining.
I enjoy all kinds of bacon-wrapped recipes, from savory to sweet. While bacon-wrapped chicken tenders and maple bacon-wrapped carrots are favorites, the salty-sweet combination of raspberry-stuffed medjool dates is hard to beat.
This recipe is a crowd-pleaser and gets asked for every time I make it. It’s naturally grain-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, Paleo and Whole30 friendly, making it a great option for many guests.

Recipe ingredients

- Medjool dates – I prefer medjool for their size and caramel-like sweetness.
- Raspberries – fresh raspberries work best; small berries may require two per date.
- Bacon – choose nitrate-free, sugar-free bacon to keep the recipe Paleo/Whole30 compliant.
See the recipe card below for exact measurements and servings.
Step by step instructions

Step 1: Remove the pits and slice each date lengthwise on one side, creating an opening without cutting all the way through.

Step 2: Stuff each date with one raspberry (use two if the raspberries are small).

Step 3: Cut bacon strips in half, wrap each stuffed date with a half-strip, and secure with a toothpick.

Step 4: Bake until the bacon is crisp, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
